This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through IndiaTrip.co.in, a dedicated India holidays brand owned and operated by TICKET N TRIP.
By booking any service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Our policies follow industry norms and depend on supplier rules, including hotels, airlines, transport providers, local tour operators, and activity organizers.
1. General Cancellation Terms
All cancellations must be communicated to us in writing via email or WhatsApp from the registered contact details used during booking.
Cancellation charges are applicable as per the timelines below unless otherwise mentioned on your package voucher.
2. Standard Cancellation Charges
These are standard deductions applicable on the total tour cost:
- 30 days or more before travel: 20% of total package cost
- 15–29 days before travel: 50% of total package cost
- 7–14 days before travel: 75% of total package cost
- Less than 7 days before travel: 100% (No refund)
Please Note:
These charges may vary depending on hotel categories, peak seasons, festivals, long weekends, or supplier-specific rules.
3. Flight Cancellation Policy
All flight bookings—domestic or international—are strictly governed by airline rules.
- Airlines may levy:
- Cancellation fees
- No-show fees
- Fare differences
- Service charges
- Airline refunds (if applicable) may take 7–21 working days, depending on their processing time.
IndiaTrip.co.in has no control over airline refund amounts or timelines.
4. Hotel Cancellation Policy
Hotel refunds are subject to individual hotel policies.
Typical hotel rules include:
- Non-refundable rates during peak seasons
- 100% retention on last-minute cancellations
- Extra charges for amendments or early departures
Hotels may classify specific dates as “blackout dates”, where refunds are not possible.
5. Transport & Sightseeing Cancellation
- Once a transport vehicle is allocated and dispatched, charges are applicable even if not used.
- Driver allowances, permits, tolls, or parking paid in advance are non-refundable.
- Sightseeing tours cancelled due to weather, closure of monuments, strikes, or operational issues are non-refundable, but alternate options may be offered when available.
6. No-Show Policy
If the traveler fails to report for:
- Hotel check-in
- Tour pickup
- Transport transfers
- Activities
- Flights or trains
It will be treated as a No-Show, and 100% charges apply.
No refunds are issued in this case.
7. Partial Cancellation / Unused Services
No refund is provided for:
- Unused hotel nights
- Unutilized services
- Missed meals
- Missed sightseeing
- Early check-out
- Delayed check-in
- Services skipped voluntarily
- Changes made directly with suppliers
Refunds are not provided for services skipped due to weather, road closures, illness, or any third-party operational issues.
8. Rescheduling / Amendments
Date changes or modifications are treated as cancellations if:
- Suppliers do not allow date changes
- New dates fall under peak season
- Price differences apply
Any fare or rate difference must be borne by the customer.
9. Refund Timeline
Once approved by suppliers, refunds are processed:
- 7–14 business days for standard cases
- 14–21 business days for airline-related refunds
- 10–30 business days for peak season bookings or complex supplier dependencies
Refunds are credited to the same payment source used during booking unless otherwise requested in writing.
10. Non-Refundable Components
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Government taxes
- Convenience / payment gateway charges
- Flight tickets with non-refundable fares
- Holiday packages during peak season / festivals
- Hotel bookings on special rates
- Permissions, entry fees, or passes
- Early check-in or late checkout charges
- Visa or travel insurance (if applicable)
11. Force Majeure / Situations Beyond Control
IndiaTrip.co.in is not liable for cancellations due to reasons beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemic / epidemic restrictions
- Government travel bans
- Political unrest or strikes
- Flight cancellations
- Weather disturbances
- Operational shutdowns of suppliers
Refunds in such cases are fully governed by supplier policies only.
12. Holiday Package Refund Calculations
Refunds are always calculated on:
Total package price – (Actual supplier charges + Cancellation fees + Service fees)
Supplier charges can include (but are not limited to):
- Hotel retention
- Airline cancellation
- Transport utilization
- Monument or activity fees
- Taxes and GST
- Driver allowances
These amounts are fully deductible as per real expenses.
13. Disputes & Jurisdiction
In case of disputes, the maximum liability of IndiaTrip.co.in is limited to the amount paid by the customer to the company.
All legal matters fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of [Insert City], India.
